I obtained my PhD from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, and subsequently conducted research at the University of Strathclyde (UK), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), KU Leuven (Belgium). Since 2024, I have been funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowship to work as a JSPS Research Fellow at the University of Tokyo. The JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship is a highly competitive international program, with a success rate below 10%, that supports outstanding early-career researchers from all over the world to conduct independent research in Japan. It is considered one of the world’s leading postdoctoral fellowships, alongside the EU’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship and Germany’s Humboldt Research Fellowship.

My research focuses on the development of Digital Twin technology, AI-driven condition monitoring, and intelligent maintenance decision support for offshore renewable energy systems, aiming to enhance system reliability, resilience, and lifecycle cost efficiency. I have published about 30 papers as the first/corresponding authors at the international journals and conferences. My research, highly recognized across the fields of wind energy, ocean engineering, and reliability engineering, has earned me 12 prestigious international fellowships, scholarships, and awards.

I am currently an observer and an invited speaker of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Wind TCP Task 43 and 53, a member of European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) technical committees and International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE) technical committees. I have served as an editorial member/guest editor/youth editorial member of 8 journals, acted as an organizing committee member/session chair at 6 international conferences.
